This article presents the results of two studies of Higgs boson properties using the WW* -&gt; e nu e mu jj final state, based on a dataset corresponding\nto 36/fb of $\\sqrt(s)$ = 13 TeV proton--proton collisions recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider.\nThe first study targets Higgs boson production via gluon fusion and constrains the CP properties of the effective Higgs-gluon interaction.\nThis study complements existing coupling parameter measurements in the e nu mu nu jj final state.\nUsing both angular distributions and the overall rate,\u00a0the\u00a0mixing angle for CP-even and CP-odd contributions\nto the effective Higgs-gluon interaction is constrained\u00a0to\u00a0tan(alpha) = 0.0 $\\pm$ 0.4 (stat) $\\pm$ 0.3 (syst.).\nThe second study exploits the vector boson fusion production mechanism to probe the  Higgs boson couplings to longitudinally and transversely polarised W and Z bosons\nin both the production and the decay of the Higgs boson; these couplings have not been previously constrained.\nThe polarisation-dependent  coupling-strength scale factors are defined as the ratios of the measured polarisation-dependent coupling strengths\nto that predicted by the Standard Model, and are constrained using rate and kinematic information to be\na_(L)=0.91$^{+0.10}_{-0.18}$(stat.)$^{+0.09}_{-0.18}$(syst.) and  a(T)=1.2 $\\pm$ 0.4 (stat.)$^{+0.4}_{-0.3}$(syst.).\nThese coupling strengths are translated into pseudo-observables, resulting in\nkappa(VV)= 0.90$^{+0.10}_{-0.18}$(stat.)$^{+0.09}_{-0.16}$(syst.) and epsilon(VV) = 0.13$^{+0.28}_{-0.20}$(stat.)$^{+0.08}_{-0.10}$(syst.).\nAll results are consistent with the Standard Model predictions.","name":"Constraints on Higgs boson properties using $WW^{*}(\\rightarrow e\\nu\\mu\\nu) jj$ production in 36.1 fb$^{-1}$ of $\\sqrt{s}$=13 TeV $pp$ collisions with the ATLAS detector","url":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins1932467?version=1"},"keywords":"P P --> HIGGS, HIGGS --> W+ W- jj, W+ W- --> E MU NU NU, VBF, uncertainties, 13000.0, Higgs spin, Higgs CP, Higgs polarization, Cross-section measurement, H(125) measurement, VBF","name":"Table a","provider":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"url":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/131093","version":1}
