Integrated over $p_{T}$,\nthe measured cross-sections are\n\n$$\n \\sigma(W^+ \\to \\mu^+\\nu_{\\mu}) = 300.9 \\pm 2.4 \\,(\\mathrm{stat})\n \\pm 3.8 \\,(\\mathrm{syst}) \\pm 6.0 \\,(\\mathrm{lumi})\\,\\mathrm{pb},\n$$\n\n$$\n \\sigma(W^- \\to \\mu^-\\nu_{\\mu}) = 236.9 \\pm 2.1 \\,(\\mathrm{stat})\n \\pm 2.7 \\,(\\mathrm{syst}) \\pm 4.7 \\,(\\mathrm{lumi})\\,\\mathrm{pb}.\n$$\n\nThese integrated results are consistent with theoretical predictions.\nThis analysis introduces a new method to determine the $W$ boson mass using the\nmeasured differential cross-sections corrected for detector effects.
