Abstract (data abstract)
Fermilab-Tevatron. Measurement of the differential cross section for Z0/GAMMA* JET X production in PBAR P collisions at centre of mass energy 1.96 TeV. The data were taken from April 2002 to February 2006 and have a total integrated luminosity of 0.97 +- 0.06 fb-1. The Z0/GAMMA* was measured through its MU+ MU- decay in the region of di-muon mass 65 to 115 GeV and ABS(rapidity) < 1.7 in which it is almost pure Z0 production. Jets are defined using the D0 RunII midpoint cone algorithm with DeltaR = 0.5. Also given here are the normalised cross sections, calculated by dividing the absolute cross section by the measured total cross section, 118 pb. Note that this does suffer from the 8 PCT overall systematic error coming from the luminsoity, trigger and muon identification uncertainties.
