Measurements of cross-sections and forward backward asymmetries at the Z resonance and determination of electroweak parameters

Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LEP. Measurement of the hadronic and leptonic cross sections and forward-backward asymmetries in E+ E- annihilations at and around the Z0 mass. The data were collected in the years 1993-95 and have an integrated luminosity of 103 pb-1. The total cross sections results are combined with earlier L3 measurementsto give updated values of the Z mass (91189.8 +- 3.1 MeV), the Z width (2502.4 +- 4.2 MeV) , the hadronic width (1751.1 +- 3.8 MeV) and the leptonic width (84.14 +- 0.17 MeV). The asymmetries are combined with earlier L3 measurements to give updated values of the vector and axial-vector coupling constants and effective electroweak mixing angle.
