Energy Loss and Flow of Heavy Quarks in Au+Au Collisions at s(NN)**(1/2) = 200-GeV

Abstract (data abstract)
Measurements at the PHENIX experiment of electrons with 0.3<PT<9GeV at midrapidity (-0.35<y<0.35) from heavy flavor (charmm and bottom) decays in Au+Au collisions atcenter-of-mass energy of 200 GeV The contribution of heavy flavor decay electrons and other sources (other hadronic decay, photonic events, ...) are estimated with two independant methods : a "cocktail"subtraction, where sources of electrons other than heavy flavor decay are calculatied from monte carlo simulations, and a "converter" method, where a thin converter, which multiplies the photonic contribution to the yield by a certain factor, is installed, and allows to determine and subtract the photonic electrons from the spectra.
