Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Searches for long-lived particles reaching the muon spectrometer from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV using a data sample of total integrated luminosity of 37 pb-1. A search is made for sleptons, acting as heavy muons, with the results are interpreted in the framework of gauge-mediated SUSY breaking (GMSB) with the stau as the heavy long-lived particle (LLP). A search is also made for R-hadrons from coloured LLPs (squark and gluinos), No excesses above backgrounds are observed.
