Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Measurement of tau lepton polarisation in Z-boson decays in proton-proton collisions at centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV with 20.2 fb^-1 of data from 2012. The measurement is done in electron-hadron and muon-hadron decay channels of tau lepton pairs in a fiducial region resembling kinematical acceptance of the analysis and is extracted over the full phase-space within Z-boson mass range from 66 to 116 GeV. See: arXiv:1709.03490 [hep-ex]. The fiducial kinematic region is described as follows: - one leptonic tau decay, - one single-prong hadronic tau decay, - lepton pT > 26 GeV, - hadronic (visible) tau pT > 20 GeV, - |eta| of visible tau < 2.47 - for electron channel |eta| < 2.47 and not 1.37 < |eta| < 1.52 - for muon channel |eta| < 2.5
