Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Study of events with two isolated electrons or muons produced in proton-proton interactions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The data samples used, collected throughout 2011, have integrated luminsoities of 4.9 and 5.0 fb-1 in the electron and muon channels, respectively. The data are used in a search for non-resonant new phenomena, originating from either contact interactions or large extra spatial dimensions. The reader is referred to the text of the paper for more details.
