Prompt charm production in pp collisions at sqrt(s)=7 TeV

Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Measurement of the cross sections for the production of the charmed particles D0, D+, D*+, D/S+ and LAMBDA/C+ and their anti-particles produced via charge conjugate decays, in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The data sample has a integrated luminosity of 15 nb-1 covering the transverse momentum range 0-8 GeV/c and rapidity 2.0-4.5.
