Event-by-event mean $p_{\rm T}$ fluctuations in pp and Pb-Pb collisions at the LHC

Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Event-by-event fluctuations of the mean transverse momentum of charged particles produced in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 0.9, 2.76 and 7 TeV, and Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV are studied as a function of the charged-particle multiplicity using data measured in 2010 and 2011 by the ALICE detector at the LHC.
