Measurements of the five most significant angular coefficients, A0 through A4, for Z bosons produced in pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 8 TeV and decaying to mu+mu- are presented as a function of the transverse momentum and rapidity of the Z boson. The integrated luminosity of the dataset collected with the CMS detector at the LHC corresponds to 19.7 inverse femtobarns. These measurements provide comprehensive information about the Z boson production mechanisms, and are compared to the QCD predictions at leading order, next-to-leading order, and next-to-next-to-leading order in perturbation theory.\n\nThe values of angular coefficients (A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, and A0-A2) are reported in the tables. See Phys. Lett. B 750 (2015) 154 for more details.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.69285.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"The five angular coefficients A0 to A4 and A0-A2 in bins of qT for |y| < 1.","name":"Table 1"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.69285.v1/t2","@type":"Dataset","description":"The five angular coefficients A0 to A4 and A0-A2 in bins of qT for 1 < |y| < 2.1.","name":"Table 2"}],"identifier":[{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecord","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins1359451?version=1"},{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecordAlt","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/69285"}],"inLanguage":"en","name":"Angular coefficients of Z bosons produced in pp collisions at $\\sqrt{s}$ = 8 TeV and decaying to $\\mu^+ \\mu^-$ as a function of transverse momentum and rapidity","provider":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"url":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins1359451?version=1","version":1}
