Abstract (data abstract)
Reconstructed invariant mass distributions of the hadronic W (jj') boson and top quark (jj'b) candidates in each b jet category. The kinematic variables describe the $\ell$+jets decay channel, where $\ell$ can be either a muon ($\mu$) or electron ($\rm{e}$). The measured cross sections are given per decay channel and for their combination. The fiducial region is defined as: - $\equiv$1lepton, $p_T$>30GeV&&|$\eta$|<2.1 - exluding 1.444<|$\eta$|<1.566 region only in the $\rm{e}$+jets channel - no additional lepton with $p_T$>20GeV&&|$\eta$|<2.5 and $p_T$>15GeV&&|$\eta$|<2.4 in the $\mu$+jets and $\rm{e}$+jets channel, respectively - $\geq$4jets(anti-kt,R=0.4), $p_T$>25GeV&&|$\eta$|<2.5 - min($\Delta R(jet,\ell)$) > 0.3 - ambiguities in pairing the jj' are resolved by choosing the combination that results in the smaller value of the $\Delta R(j,j')$, where $\Delta R=\sqrt{ (\Delta \eta)^{2} + (\Delta \phi)^{2}}$ - ambiguities in pairing the jj'b are resolved by choosing the combination that results in the smaller value of the $|m_{jj'b}-m_{\ell\nu b}|$ The acceptance is measured in the $\mu$+jets channel as: 0.060$\pm$0.002(tot) The acceptance is measured in the $\rm{e}$+jets channel as: 0.056$\pm$0.002(tot) The efficiency is measured in the $\mu$+jets channel as: 0.91$\pm$0.04(tot) The efficiency is measured in the $\rm{e}$+jets channel as: 0.63$\pm$0.03(tot)
