Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Measurement of the associated production of a single top quark and a Z boson, using 35.9 fb-1 of data recorded in 2016 by the CMS experiment. Final states with three leptons (electrons or muons) are used. The reported cross section is corrected to include Z boson to tau leptons, and all decays of the top quark, thus sigma(pp -> tZq -> Wb ll q), where l stands for electrons, muons, and taus. The paper is published in PLB 779 (2018) 358-384, DOI https://doi.org/10.1016/j.physletb.2018.02.025
