The measurements of differential cross sections for the production of two Z bosons in association with jets in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV an 8 TeV are reported. The analysis is based on data samples collected at the LHC with the CMS detector, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 19.7 and 35.9 fb-1  at 8 and 13 TeV, respectively. The measurements are performed in the leptonic decay modes $\\textrm{p} \\textrm{p} \\to \\textrm{ZZ}\\to \\ell\\ell\\ell^{\\prime}\\ell^{\\prime}$, where  where $\\ell,\\ell^{\\prime} = e, \\mu$. The differential cross sections as a function of the jet multiplicity, the transverse momentum $p_T$, and pseudorapidity of the $p_T$-leading and subleading jets are presented. In addition, the differential cross sections as a function of variables sensitive to the vector boson scattering, such as the invariant mass of the two $p_T$-leading jets and their pseudorapidity separation, are reported. The fiducial region for the 13 TeV analysis is defined as: leading lepton $p_T$ &gt; 20 GeV, subleading lepton $p_T$ &gt; 10 GeV, lepton $p_T$ &gt; 5 GeV, psudorapidity of electrons and muons |eta| &lt; 2.5, invariant mass of any opposite-sign same-flavor lepton pair $\\textrm{m}_{\\ell \\ell} &gt; 4$ GeV, invariant mass of the Z boson $60 &lt; \\textrm{m}_{\\textrm{Z1}},\\textrm{m}_{\\textrm{Z2}} &lt; 120$ GeV. The fiducial region for the 8 TeV analysis is defined as: leading lepton $p_T$ &gt; 20 GeV, subleading lepton $p_T$ &gt; 10 GeV, muon $p_T$ &gt; 5 GeV, electron $p_T$ &gt; 7 GeV, psudorapidity of electrons |eta| &lt; 2.5, psudorapidity of muons |eta| &lt; 2.4, invariant mass of any opposite-sign same-flavor lepton pair $\\textrm{m}_{\\ell \\ell} &gt; 4$ GeV, invariant mass of the Z boson $60 &lt; \\textrm{m}_{\\textrm{Z1}},\\textrm{m}_{\\textrm{Z2}} &lt; 120$ GeV.
