The distribution of the invariant mass of the two leading jets is examined for local excesses above a data-derived estimate of the Standard Model background. In addition to an inclusive dijet search, events with jets identified as containing b-hadrons are examined specifically. No significant excess of events above the smoothly falling background spectra is observed. The results are used to set cross-section upper limits at 95% confidence level on a range of new physics scenarios. Model-independent limits on Gaussian-shaped signals are also reported. The analysis looking at jets containing b-hadrons benefits from improvements in the jet flavour identification at high transverse momentum, which increases its sensitivity relative to the previous analysis beyond that expected from the higher integrated luminosity.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"The probability of an event to pass the b-tagging requirement after the rest of the event selection, shown as a...","name":"Table 1"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t2","@type":"Dataset","description":"Dijet invariant mass distribution for the inclusive category with |y*| < 0.6.","name":"Table 2"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t3","@type":"Dataset","description":"Dijet invariant mass distribution for the inclusive category with |y*| < 1.2.","name":"Table 3"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t4","@type":"Dataset","description":"Dijet invariant mass distribution for the category with at least one b-tagged jet.","name":"Table 4"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t5","@type":"Dataset","description":"Dijet invariant mass distribution for the category with both jets b-tagged.","name":"Table 5"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t6","@type":"Dataset","description":"The 95% CL upper limits on the cross-section times acceptance times branching ratio into two jets as a function of...","name":"Table 6"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t7","@type":"Dataset","description":"The 95% CL upper limits on the cross-section times acceptance times branching ratio into two jets as a function of...","name":"Table 7"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t8","@type":"Dataset","description":"The 95% CL upper limits on the cross-section times acceptance times branching ratio into two jets as a function of...","name":"Table 8"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t9","@type":"Dataset","description":"The 95% CL upper limits on the cross-section times acceptance times branching ratio into two jets as a function of...","name":"Table 9"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.91126.v1/t10","@type":"Dataset","description":"The upper limits on the DM mediator Z' signal at 95% CL from the inclusive category.
