Transverse momentum and process dependent azimuthal anisotropies in $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=8.16$ TeV $p$+Pb collisions with the ATLAS detector

Abstract (data abstract)
The two-particle azimuthal anisotropy coefficients, $v_{2}$ and $v_{3}$ are measured in $p$+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=8.16$ TeV with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider using a dataset with an integrated luminosity of 165 nb$^{−1}$ recorded in 2016. The results are shown as a function of particle $p_\mathrm{T}$ and collision centrality. In addition to measurements in minimum bias events, results are shown from events selected by the presence of a high $p_\mathrm{T}$ jet; this selection enhances the statistics of high $p_\mathrm{T}$ particles. Furthermore, assuming a two componant model of particle production (from Hard Scatterings or from the Underlying Event), the relative contribution of particle pairs is determined for each of the four combinations.
