A search for the electroweak (EW) production of two Z bosons in association with 2 jets (j) and constraints on anomalous quartic gauge couplings are presented. The analysis is based on a data sample of proton-proton collisions at \u221as= 13 TeV collected with the CMS detector in 2016-2018 and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137.1 fb\u22121. The search is performed in the fully leptonic final state where the two Z bosons decay to either a pair of electrons or a pair of muons. \n The inclusive fiducial region is defined as: \n pt(l) &gt; 20,10,5,5 GeV, |eta(l)|&lt; 2.5 \n 60 &lt; m(ll)&lt; 120 GeV, m(4l)&gt;180 GeV \n pT(j) &gt; 30 GeV, |eta(j)| &lt; 4.7 \n m(jj) &gt; 100 GeV and DeltaR(l,j)&gt;0.4. \n The VBS-enriched loose selection additionally requires: \n m(jj) &gt; 400 GeV and DeltaEta(jj)&gt;2.4. \n The VBS-enriched tight selection additionally requires: \n m(jj) &gt; 1 TeV and DeltaEta(jj)&gt;2.4.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.95433.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"Data from paper Table 3.
