They are based on proton-proton collision data collected with the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $302~\\mathrm{pb}^{-1}$. Events with two, three, or four charged light leptons (electrons or muons) in the final state are analyzed. The $\\mathrm{WW}$, $\\mathrm{WZ}$, and $\\mathrm{ZZ}$ total cross sections are measured as $\\sigma_{\\mathrm{WW}}=37.0 \\text{ }^{+5.5}_{-5.2} (\\text{stat}) \\text{ }^{+2.7}_{-2.6} (\\text{syst})~\\mathrm{pb}$, $\\sigma_{\\mathrm{WZ}}=6.4  \\text{ }^{+2.5}_{-2.1} (\\text{stat}) \\text{ }^{+0.5}_{-0.3} (\\text{syst})~\\mathrm{pb}$, and $\\sigma_{\\mathrm{ZZ}}=5.3 \\text{ }^{+2.5}_{-2.1} (\\text{stat}) \\text{ }^{+0.5}_{-0.4} (\\text{syst})~\\mathrm{pb}$. All measurements are in good agreement with theoretical calculations at combined next-to-next-to-leading order quantum chromodynamics and next-to-leading order electroweak accuracy.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.107754.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected event yields in the WW SR and observed number of events.
