The resonance X decays into either a pair of Higgs bosons HH of mass 125 GeV or an H and a new spin-0 boson Y. One H subsequently decays to a pair of photons, and the second H or Y, to a pair of bottom quarks. The explored mass ranges of X are 260-1000 GeV and 300-1000 GeV, for decays to HH and to HY, respectively, with the Y mass range being 90-800 GeV. For a spin-0 X hypothesis, the 95% confidence level upper limit on the product of its production cross section and decay branching fraction is observed to be within 0.90-0.04 fb, depending on the masses of X and Y. The largest deviation from the background-only hypothesis with a local (global) significance of 3.8 (below 2.8) standard deviations is observed for X and Y masses of 650 and 90 GeV, respectively. The limits are interpreted using several models of new physics.","hasPart":[{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t1","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 6 (Spin-0)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t2","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 6 (Spin-2)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t3","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 300 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t4","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 350 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t5","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 400 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t6","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 450 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t7","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 500 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t8","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 550 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t9","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 600 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t10","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 650 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t11","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 700 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t12","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 750 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t13","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 800 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t14","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 850 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t15","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 900 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t16","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 950 GeV)"},{"@id":"https://doi.org/10.17182/hepdata.142396.v1/t17","@type":"Dataset","description":"Expected and observed 95% upper limits on the product of the production cross section and the branching fraction for a...","name":"Figure 7 (X mass = 1000 GeV)"}],"identifier":[{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecord","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins2705674?version=1"},{"@type":"PropertyValue","propertyID":"HEPDataRecordAlt","value":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/142396"}],"inLanguage":"en","name":"Search for a new resonance decaying into two spin-0 bosons in a final state with two photons and two bottom quarks in proton-proton collisions at $\\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV","provider":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"publisher":{"@type":"Organization","name":"HEPData"},"url":"https://www.hepdata.net/record/ins2705674?version=1","version":1}
