Abstract (data abstract)
LAMPF - Measurement of the differential cross section for (pi- p --& gt; gamma n) from 427 to 625 MeV/c. Method used is to combine the Panofsky ratio in flight measured in Kim et al, PRL 56 (86) 1779 (see & lt;a href=http://durpdg.dur.ac.uk/scripts/reacsearch.csh/TESTREAC/red+2051& gt; RED = 2051 & lt;/a& gt;) with known charge exchange cross sections from pi N partial wave analysis (Arndt et al, PR D32 (85) 1085).
