The A-dependence of J / psi and psi-prime production at 800-GeV/c

Abstract (data abstract)
FERMILAB. Measurement of the mass dependence of J/PSI and PSIPRIME production in 800 GeV proton nucleus collisions. Targets are deuterium, carbon, calcium, iron, and tungsten. A depletion of the yield per nucleon for both is observed from heavy nuclei. The XL and PT dependence is measured. Numerical values of data supplied by J. Moss.
