The measurement is performed on large-radius (R=0.8), high-transverse-momentum jets: the more central jet in QCD dijet events and the leading jet in $\\mu$+jets $\\mathrm{t\\overline{t}}$ events wherein orthogonal regions enriched in Lorentz-boosted, hadronically decaying W bosons and top quarks are defined. The three data samples correspond to event selections with characteristically one-, two-, or three-prong jet topologies, arising from the showering and hadronization of a light-flavour quark or gluon, two quarks, or three quarks, respectively. For each selection, the combined one-dimensional distribution of all observables is unfolded to the particle level using a global binning scheme in which each unit-width, global bin maps to a particle-level bin in the physical range of each observable; a null bin of unit width separates between the different sub-distributions in the combined distribution. The unfolded combined distribution is normalized on a per-observable basis, such that the corresponding sub-distributions are normalized to unit area without explicitly assuming equal event yields per observable. Correspondingly, a block-diagonal Jacobian is used to transform the covariance matrices for the unfolded result to obtain the variance of the bins of the normalized, combined distribution, and to extract the particle-level correlations between bins of the individual observables presented in this data record. Particle-level differential cross-sections for the individual N-subjettiness observables are also provided.
