Massive hadron pair production by 800-geV/c protons on nuclear targets

Abstract (data abstract)
Fermilab. Measurement of cross sections, angular and target dependences of massive hadron pair production in 800 GeV proton nucleus collisions. Targets are BE, AL, FE and W. Data cover the mass range 7 to 15 GeV for the three dihadron charge states ++, -- and +-, and parton-parton scattering angle up to cos(theta)* = 0.5. Data are for combined nuclei unless specified.
