Search for first generation leptoquark pair production in $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 1.8$ TeV

Abstract (data abstract)
FERMILAB-COLLIDER. Search for first generation leptoquark pair production in pbar-p collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 1.8 TeV. Both l eptoquarks are assumed to decay in to an electron and a quark. Three candidate events come from a data sample of luminosity 110 +-7 pb-1, and are consistent with background expectations. Upper limits are given for the production cross section of the leptoquark pairs.
