A Measurement of alpha(s)(Q**2) from the Gross-Llewellyn Smith sum rule

Phys.Rev.Lett. 81 (1998) 3595-3598, 1998

Abstract (data abstract)
FNAL-TEV. Determination of ALPHAS as a function of Q2 from the Gross-Llewellyn Smith (GLS) sum rule. CCFR data, collected during 1985 (E744) and 1987-1988 (E770) runs. At high x following data on xF3 are used: WA25 (see ZP C28, 321),WA59 (seeZP C36, 1), SKAT(see ZP C30, 175),FNAL-E180(see JETP LETT 36, 367), BEBC-Gargam elle(see NP B142, 1). These were each normalized to CCFR in the regions of overlap, and the WA25 data were corrected at high x for nuclear differencies of the targets.

ALPHAS extrapolated to the Z0 mass. The second DSYS error is due to the uncertainty in the theory.
