Precise Measurement of Dimuon Production Cross-Sections in $\nu_{\mu}$ Fe and $\bar{\nu}_{\mu}$ Fe Deep Inelastic Scattering at the Tevatron.

Abstract (data abstract)
Fermilab-Tevatron. Measurements of the semi-inclusive cross sections for NUMU- and NUMUBAR- NUCLEON DIS interactions with two oppositely charged muons in the final state. The measurement was obtained from 5102 NUMU and 1458 NUMUBAR included events collected with the NuTeV detector exposed to a sign-selected beam. Measurements are also presented from a reanalysis of 5030 NUMU and 1060 NUMUBAR induced events collected from the exposure of the same detector to the quad-triplet beam by the CCFR experiment. To convert the cross sections in the tables to mbarn multiply the table entries by:. C = 0.3894 mb*GeV**2 * (G_fermi**2 * M_nucleon * E_nu/100/pi). The first factor is the usual conversion factor from GeV to mb from the PDG, the second is the unit given in the captions to the tables, in GeV**(-2). This works out to 0.16 E-12 mb/GeV * Enu. Priv.
