Abstract (data abstract)
DESY-HERA. Measurement of triple differential dijet cross sections in the interactions of 27.55 GeV electrons (80% e+ and 20% e-) with 920 GeV protons. The data are given as functions of ET, ETARAP, X(GAMMA) and Y, in the photon virtuality region Q**2 from 2 to 80 GeV, the inelasticity region Y from 0.1 to 0.85, the ET of the highest ET jet & gt; 7 GeV and the second highest & gt; 5 GeV, the pseudorapidity ETARAP of both jets for -2.5 to 0.0. The measurements are made in the virtual photon-proton centre of mass frame using an integrated luminosity of 57 pb-1 collected during the 1999 and 2000 HERA running period.. X(C=GAMMA) is effectively the fraction of the photon four-momenta carried by the parton involved in the hard scattering.. Note that in the tables each event counts twice, but not necesserily in the same bin, since the variables ET and ETARAP refer to both events with the highest and second highest ET in the event.
