Measurement of the spin structure of the deuteron in the DIS region

Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-SPS. Measurement of the longitudinal deuteron spin asymmetry A1 and spin dependent structure function G1 in the Q**2 range for 1 to 100 GeV and Bjorken X from 0.004 to 0.7. The data were taken with a 160 GeV polarized muon beam and a polarized lithium deuteride target during the 2002 and 2003 running periods with integrated luminosities of 600 pb-1 and 900 pb-1 respectively.. Numerical values of figure 5 supplied by A. Korzenev.
