Measurement of exclusive rho+ rho- production in mid-virtuality two-photon interactions and study of the gamma gamma* --> rho rho process at LEP.

Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LEP. Measurement of the cross sections for exclusive RHO+ RHO- production in the two-photon collisions between a quasi-real and a mid-virtuality photon with data collected from E+ E- collisions at centre of mass energies from 183 to 209 GeV with a total integrated luminosity of 684.8 pb-1. The cross section is determined as a function of Q**2 and W in the regions0.2 & lt; Q**2 & lt; 0.85 GeV**2 and 1.1 & lt; W & lt; 3 GeV.
