Inelastic Production of J/psi Mesons in Photoproduction and Deep Inelastic Scattering at HERA

Abstract (data abstract)
DESY-HERA. Measurement of the inelastic photo- and electroproduction of J/PSI mesons in E- P scattering. The data were taken from 2004 to 2007 with both electron and positron beams. For both samples the photon-proton centre of mass energy, W, is from 60 to 240 GeV and the inelasticity, Z, from 0.3 to 0.9. For the photoproduction sample the Q**2 is < 2.5 GeV**2 with a mean of 0.085 GeV**2 and for the electroproduction sample Q**2 is from 3.6 to 100 GeV**2. For the photoproduction sample PT in the lab frame is > 1.0 GeV and for the electroproduction sample PT is > 1.0 GeV in the photon-proton rest frame. Differential cross sections are given as functions of PT, Z, W and Q**2.
