Prompt K_short production in pp collisions at sqrt(s)=0.9 TeV

Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Measurement of the differential cross section D2SIG/DPT/DYRAP for the production of K0S mesons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 900 GeV. The data cover the PT range 0 to 1.6 GeV and rapidity 2.5 to 4.0 and was taken during the December 2009 run. Numerical values of Figs. 5 and 6 supplied by Olivier Schneider.
