Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. First measurement of hadronic event shapes in P P collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The data were collected between April and August 2010 and have a total integrated luminosity of 3.2 pb-1. Jet clustering uses the anti-KT algorithm with R=0.5 with a single-jet trigger requiring jet |pseudorapidity| < 5 and jet PT > 30 GeV in the low PT bin and > 50 GeV in the medium and high PT bins. Data on two event shape variables, the Central Transverse Thrust and the Central Trust Minor are presented. Numerical values were supplied by M A Weber.
