The spin-spin correlation parameter C NN at 50° and 90° c.m. for elastic pp-scattering has been obtained in the energy range 0.69–0.95 GeV. It was found that the parameter C NN (90°) shows resonance-like structure at energies near 700 MeV. Its energy dependence does not agree with Hoshizaki's phase-shift analysis predictions. C NN (50°) agrees well with these predictions and does not show any structure within the accuracy of the measurements.

A polarized proton beam extracted from SATURNE II was scattered on an unpolarized CH 2 target. The angular distribution of the beam analyzing power A oono was measured at large angles from 1.98 to 2.8 GeV and at 0.80 GeV nominal beam kinetic energy. The same observable was determined at the fixed mean laboratory angle of 13.9° in the same energy range. Both measurements are by-products of an experiment measuring the spin correlation parameter A oon .

The energy dependence of the slope and of the total elastic scattering cross sections has been determined experimentally. The results are compared with the known data. Results of systematic measurements of the asymmetry parameter in the elastic scattering of pions on polarized protons at 1.4–2.1 GeV/ c in the backward hemisphere are presented together with a test of the isospin invariance of the data set available on pion-proton scattering in the investigated momentum range. The transversity isodoublet amplitudes at 1.98 and 2.07 GeV/ c are reconstructed. The obtained data, the isospin analysis and amplitude reconstruction results are compared with the current phase-shift analysis predictions.

The Sigma^- mean squared charge radius has been measured in the space-like Q^2 range 0.035-0.105 GeV^2/c^2 by elastic scattering of a Sigma^- beam off atomic electrons. The measurement was performed with the SELEX (E781) spectrometer using the Fermilab hyperon beam at a mean energy of 610 GeV/c. We obtain <r^2> = (0.61 +/- 0.12 (stat.) +/- 0.09 (syst.)) fm^2. The proton and pi^- charge radii were measured as well and are consistent with results of other experiments. Our result agrees with the recently measured strong interaction radius of the Sigma^-.
