TWO EVENTS SEEN WITH MASSES 800 +- 90 MEV AND 1400 +- 90 MEV. THE FIRST WHEN INTERPRETED AS ETAPRIME PRODUCTION GIVES A WIDTH OF 11, +15, -8 KEV FOR ETAPRIME --> 2GAMMA USING THE EQUIVALENT PHOTON APPROXIMATION.
New data on the ν ′ ν system produced in the π − p charge exchange at 38 GeV c momentum confirm the existence of the narrow ν ′ ν resonance X(1910). The hypothesis of the X(1910) quantum numbers being a J PC = 1 −+ , forbidden for the q[ovbar|q] meson, is proposed to explain the extremely low limits obtained for X(1910) decays through π 0 π 0 , νν and K 0 s K 0 s channels and the flat t -dependence of the X(1910) production cross section.

A partial wave analysis of the centrally produced eta pi0 and eta pi- channels has been performed in pp collisions using an incident beam momentum of 450 GeV/c. Clear a0(980) and a2(1320) signals have been observed in S and D+ waves respectively. The dPT, phi and |t| distributions of these resonances are presented.
The variable ABS(PT(P=3)-PT(P=4)) is used as a glueball-QUARK QUARKBAR filter (see F.E.Close and A.Krik, PL 397B, 333 (1997)). SIG(C=TOT) stands for the cross section for the whole ABS(PT(P=3)-PT(P=4))interval.

The differential asymmetry ratio for the process γ+n→p+π− was measured at 90° in the center-of-mass system and for incident photon energies from 352 to 550 MeV. The observed asymmetries are larger than the values predicted from the theory by Berends, Donnachie, and Weaver. A smaller M1- amplitude gives better agreement between the experiment and the theory.

MESON0 with the mass about 500 MeV was detected. The SIGMA*BR(M --> 2PI0).
High-statistics data on the reaction π−p→ηπ+π−n at 8.06 GeV/c were obtained. An isobarmodel partial-wave analysis was performed for the ηππ system. The η(1275) meson was confirmed as a narrow IJPC=00−+ resonance. It decays through both δπ and εη. A narrow state with IJPC=00−+ was found in an ηππ decay channel at 1.42 GeV. It has a prominent peak in a δπ decay mode. No significant E(1420) signal with IJPC=01++ was found near the mass region of 1.42 GeV.

A high-statistics experiment on the reaction π − p→ π + π − π 0 n at 8.06 GeV/ c has been performed using a spectrometer detecting both charged particles and gamma rays. A partial-wave analysis based on the isobar model has been carried out for π + π − π 0 data in the mass range between 0.86 and 1.50 GeV for four t ′ regions: 0.0–0.1, 0.1–0.25, 0.25–0.45 and 0.45–0.95 (GeV/ c 2 ). Two axial-vector resonances, a 1 (1260) and h 1 (1170), were observed in the analysis. The masses and widths of a 1 and h 1 were determined to be M (a 1 = 1121 ± 8 MeV, Λ (a 1 = 239± 11 MeV, M (h 1 = 1168±4 MeV and Λ (h 1 = 345±6 MeV, respectively, by fitting the Breit-Wigner formula to the partial wave amplitude. A fit including the Deck type background was also tried in each t ′ region. The results showed a small effect on these resonance parameters and were consistent with those obtained by the simple Breit-Wigner fitting.
