We present results on three reactions involving neutral final states which were studied in a magnet spark chamber system. These results are: (a) differential cross section with high statistics for K − p → K 0 n at 5 GeV /c (24 000 events) and at 8 GeV/ c (11 000 events) for t′ <2.0 (GeV/ c ) 2 ; (b) differential cross section and polarization for K − p → Λπ 0 (backward peak) at 5 GeV/ c for u ′ < 1.4 GeV/ c ) 2 ; and (c) differential cross section for K − p → K 0 Δ 0 (1232) at 5 GeV /c for t′ < 1.2 ( GeV /c) 2 . We compare our results with existing data and draw some phenomenological conclusions.

We present data on K − p reactions leading to the final states K 0 n , π 0 Λ, ηΛ, η'Λ, π − Σ + , K 0 Δ 0 (1230), and π − Σ + (1385) from a bubble chamber experiment at 14.3 GeV/ c K − lab momentum. Total and differential cross sections, Λ and Σ ∓ polarisations in π 0 Λ and π − Σ + final states as well as the Σ + (1385) density matrix elements are given.

Differential cross sections for the line-reversed reaction pairs K + 0p → K o Δ ++ (1236), K − n → K ̄ o Δ − (1236) and K − p → K ̄ o n , K + n → K o p have been measured with good statistics at 4 and 6 GeV/ c . The line reversal breaking for the Δ (1236) reactions is found to have no significant variation with energy and to be larger than for the charge exchange reactions. The cross sections for all four reactions show a dip in the forward direction, indicating the importance of spin-flip amplitudes.

Differential cross sections for the reactions K−p→K¯0n, K−p→K¯0Δ0, and K+p→K0Δ++ in the region 0<|t|<1.2 GeV2 are presented from a wire-spark-chamber spectrometer experiment performed in a 13-GeV/c separated beam. The results are based on 20 000 Δ++ events, 4600 Δ0 events, and 8500 n events. The line-reversed pair of Δ reactions is used to test Regge exchange degeneracy and an SU(3) sum rule. The energy dependence of all three reactions is studied by comparison with other experiments.

TMIN IS SO MUCH LESS THAN THE RESOLUTION THAT TP DOES NOT DIFFER SIGNIFICANTLY FROM T.
We report the results of a precise measurement of the K−p→K¯∘n cross section between 515 and 1065 MeV/c in steps of 10 MeV/c. The statistical errors are less than 1%, a major improvement in accuracy over previous work. No evidence is found for the new I=1 K¯N resonances at 546 and 602 MeV/c reported recently by Carroll et al.

In this letter results are presented on the reactions K − p → K 0 n and K − p → K − p from a high statistics CERN 2-metre hydrogen bubble chamber exposure at 4.15 GeV/ c . The behaviour of the differential cross section as a function of four-momentum transfer shows remarkable similarities between the two reactions studied. From a comparison of our data with K + p elastic scattering at 4.27 GeV/ c we draw some conclusions concerning the magnitude of the contributing amplitudes.

The results on total channel cross-sections obtained in the 2 m HBC exposed to a separated K− beam at the CERN PS are presented here. The total cross-sections for each channel are given at seven incident K− momenta between 1.934 and 2.516 GeV/c.
CORRECTED FOR ALL POSSIBLE V DECAY MODES. STATISTICAL ERRORS ONLY.
The cross sections for the line-reversed reaction pairs K+n→K0p and K−p→K¯0n, and K+p→K0Δ++ and K−n→K¯0Δ− have been determined with high statistics and good relative normalization at 8.36 and 12.8 GeV/c in a spectrometer experiment at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center. The cross sections for the K+-induced reactions are larger than for the K−, contrary to the expectations of weakly-exchange-degenerate Regge-pole models. The ratio of the reaction cross sections is about the same as at lower energies and shows little change with momentum transfer.

We present new measurements of the differential cross sections for K − p → K 0 n at 3, 4, 5 and 6 GeV/ c , where we have 248, 538, 761, and 376 events, respectively. Total cross sections are obtained by integrating the differential cross sections. We combine our data with other data from 3 to 15.7 GeV/ c to calculate an effective Regge trajectory for this reaction. Comparisons are made to predictions from exchange degeneracy and SU(3) sum rules.

New data on the K−p elastic and charge exchange reactions are presented in the K− momentum range between 1.934 GeV/c and 2.516 GeV/c. A conventional energy-dependent partial-wave analysis covering the widerPK- range from 1.6 GeV/c to 2.516 GeV/c is presented together with a p.w.a. in which the duality ands-helicity conservation ideas are explicitly imposed in the fits. Finally the new Y*’s observed in this experiment are classified inSU3 multiplets.
