The process $e^+e^-\to\omega\eta\pi^0$ is studied in the energy range $1.45-2.00$ GeV using data with an integrated luminosity of 33 pb$^{-1}$ accumulated by the SND detector at the $e^+e^-$ collider VEPP-2000. The $e^+e^-\to\omega\eta\pi^0$ cross section is measured for the first time. The cross section has a threshold near 1.75 GeV. Its value is about 2 nb in the energy range $1.8-2.0$ GeV. The dominant intermediate state for the process $e^+e^- \to \omega\eta\pi^0$ is found to be $\omega a_0(980)$.

The process $e^+e^- \to K^+K^-\pi^+\pi^-$ has been studied in the center-of-mass energy range from 1500 to 2000\,MeV using a data sample of 23 pb$^{-1}$ collected with the CMD-3 detector at the VEPP-2000 $e^+e^-$ collider. Using about 24000 selected events, the $e^+e^- \to K^+K^-\pi^+\pi^-$ cross section has been measured with a systematic uncertainty decreasing from 11.7\% at 1500-1600\,MeV to 6.1\% above 1800\,MeV. A preliminary study of $K^+K^-\pi^+\pi^-$ production dynamics has been performed.

K − p reactions have been studied at 13 different incident momenta between 1138 and 1434 MeV/ c . This interval corresponds to a mass of the K − p system varying from 1858 to 1993 MeV. About 300 000 photographs were taken in the 81 cm Saclay hydrogen bubble chamber exposed to a separated K − beam at the CERN proton-synchrotron. A total of about 44 000 events were analyzed, from which partial and differential cross sections were determined. Polarizations were obtained for the two-body reactions where the decay of the Λ or Σ hyperon allowed their measurement. Data for the two-body channels are presented here as well as for the main quasi-two-body reactions.

Partial Wave Analysis of $K^- p \to \pi^\mp \Sigma^\pm$ (1385) Between 1775-{MeV} and 2170-{MeV} Including New Data Below 1960-{MeV}

New data are presented for the reaction K − p → Λπ + π − at 11 energies between 1775 and 1957 MeV in the centre-of-mass. New values for the masses and widths of the Σ ± (1385) are given. The differential cross sections and the complete spin density matrices for the reactions K − p → π ± Σ ∓ (1385) were extracted from these data using also the information from the Λ decay. An energy-dependent partial-wave analysis has been carried out over the c.m. range 1775–2170 MeV also using data from an earlier experiment. Comparisons between the observed resonant amplitudes and SU(3) and SU(6) W ⊎ O(3) predictions have been made.

Measurement of the $e^+e^- \to \eta\pi^+\pi^-$ cross section in the center-of-mass energy range 1.22--2.00 GeV with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 collider

Inspire Record 1332929 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.73176

In the experiment with the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 $e^+e^-$ collider the cross section for the process $e^+e^-\to\eta\pi^+\pi^-$ has been measured in the center-of-mass energy range from 1.22 to 2.00 GeV. Obtained results are in agreement with previous measurements and have better accuracy. The energy dependence of the $e^+e^-\to\eta\pi^+\pi^-$ cross section has been fitted with the vector-meson dominance model. From this fit the product of the branching fractions $B(\rho(1450)\to\eta\pi^+\pi^-)B(\rho(1450)\to e^+e^-)$ has been extracted and compared with the same products for $\rho(1450)\to\omega\pi^0$ and $\rho(1450)\to\pi^+\pi^-$ decays. The obtained cross section data have been also used to test the conservation of vector current hypothesis.

The c.m. energy ($\sqrt{s}$), integrated luminosity ($L$), detection efficiency ($\varepsilon$), number of selected signal events ($N$), radiative-correction factor ($1 + \delta$), measured $e^+e^- \to \eta \pi^+\pi^-$ Born cross section ($\sigma_B$). For the number of events and cross section the statistical error is quoted. The systematic uncertainty on the cross section is 8.3% at $\sqrt{s}<1.45$ GeV, 5.0% at $1.45<\sqrt{s}<1.60$ GeV, and 7.8% at $\sqrt{s}>1.60$ GeV.

Large-Angle Elastic Scattering of Negative Pions by Protons at 1.51, 2.01, and 2.53 Bev/c

Inspire Record 1408825 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.70519

The differential elastic scattering cross sections for negative pions on ; protons were measured at incident momenta of 1.51, 2.01, and 2.53 Bev/c with ; emphasis on the angular region outside the diffraction peak. The purpose of the ; experiment was to examine the behavior of the largeangle differential elastic ; cross section as a function of energy from the energy of the highest known ; resonance in the pion-nucleon system into the region where the total. cross ; sections appear to be approaching an asymptotic value. The experiment was ; performed at the Bevatron, using a luminescent chamber system to photograph the ; tracks of the scattered pion and the recoil proton from a liquid hydrogen target. ; A total of 2412 elastic scatterings were analyzed at 1.51 Bev/c, 1300 events at ; 2.01 Bev/c, and 1080 events at 2.53 Bev/c. From the existing data it may be ; noted that the backward bump, which has a maximum height of 2.1 mb/sr at 900 Mev ; and 1.1 mb/sr at 1020 Mev, is down to 0.4 mb/sr at 1.51 Bev/c (1.37 Bev), and is ; not present at 2.01 or 2.53 Bev/c. The angular distributions behind the ; diffraction peak at 2.01 and 2.53 Bev/c are rougly constant, decreasing from 0.18 ; mb/sr at 2.01 Bev/c to 0.125 mb/sr at 2.53 Bev/c. Although the data can be taken ; to suggest some oscillatory structure in this region, they are not inconsistent ; with an isotropic distribution that might be interpreted as evidence for an S-; wave scattering behind the diffraction peak. Phys.Rev. 166 (1968) 1448-1457, 1968.
Inspire Record 1407765 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.70298

Measurements have been made of the asymmetry in the scattering of π− mesons by a polarized proton target. Scattered π mesons and recoil protons were detected in arrays of scintillation counters; data were obtained at 16 scattering angles at each of 8 beam momenta between 875 and 1578 MeV/c. Analysis of these data together with earlier differential-cross-section measurements shows that there must exist at least three resonances in this energy region: (i) mass 1920 MeV/c2, Γ=170 MeV/c2, I=32, F72; (ii) mass 1682 MeV/c2, Γ=100 MeV/c2, I=12, F52; and (iii) mass 1674 MeV/c2, Γ=100 MeV/c2, I=12, D52.
