Abstract (data abstract)
CERN-LHC. Measurement of the cross section for inclusive production of isolated prompt photons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV. The measurement covers the |pseudorapidity| ranges < 1.37 and 1.52 to 1.81 for photons of transverse energy from 15 to 100 GeV from a data sample of total integrated luminosity of 880 nb-1. The isolation criteria is based on the energy in a cone (R=0.4) in pseudorapidity-azimuthal angle space around the photon direction.
