We report some measurements of the Λ polarization in the reaction Υ+P=K+Λ+0, for 950<Eγ<1050 MeV. In Sects. 1 and 2 the experimental apparatus and the detection techniques used are described. In Sect.3 we discuss our results and those of other groups and compare them with the theoretical predictions.

Measurements of π±p elastic differential cross-sections have been performed in the forward direction, using a missing-mass spark chamber spectrometer. The films have been seanned by an automatic apparatus. A phase-shift analysis of the experimental data has been done, leading to three solutions. Various experiments are proposed in order to resolve the ambiguities.

Inspire Record 1185329 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.981

Elastic scattering, single-pion and deuteron production have been investigated. The cross-section for elastic scattering is σelastic = (13.5±0.3) mb. The angular distribution has been fitted to dσ/d|t|=(dσ/d|t|)0 e −bt in the region of low values oft. The best fit givesb=(6.7±0.5) (GeV/c)−2 and (dσ/d|t|)0=(91±5) mb(GeV/c)−2. The cross-sections for ppπ0, pnπ+ reactions are respectively (2.6±0.3) mb and (9.7±0.4) mb. These reactions are dominated by the (3/2, 3/2) nucleonpion isobar production and by forward backward collimation of the nucleons. The production rates for the isobars ++1238 , +1238 , +1500 have been estimated, taking into account the experimental peripheral behaviour of the interaction. In the pnπ+ reaction they are (50±2)%; (10±3)%; (4±3)%. In the ppπ+ reaction the production of ++1238 is estimated to be (45±10)%. The dπ+ and dπ+π+π- reaction cross-sections are respectively (0.03±0.01) mb, and (0.04±0.01) mb.

Nuovo Cim. 28 (1963) 1464-1483, 1963.
Inspire Record 1185011 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.37694

Cross-sections of single positive pions produced in hydrogen by photons of laboratory energies between 550 and 900 MeV at centre of-mass angle between 0° and 10° have been measured, using a magnetic spectrometer and an appropriate counter arrangement. The experiment is described in detail. Angular distributions at constant y-ray energy and the dependence of the differential cross-section on energy at variousconstant centre-of-mass angles are given and their significance discussed.

perimental analysis of the process is presented. Theσ(−)/σ(+) ratio has been measured in the photon energy interval (170÷230) MeV and Lab. angles 45°, 75°, 105°, 150°. The results are interpreted on the base of the impulse approximation with the aim of getting information on the processhv+n →π −+p.

Search for dark matter candidates and large extra dimensions in events with a photon and missing transverse momentum in pp collision data at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

The ATLAS collaboration Aad, Georges ; Abajyan, Tatevik ; Abbott, Brad ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 110 (2013) 011802, 2013.
Inspire Record 1186740 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.47282

Results of a search for new phenomena in events with an energetic photon and large missing transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions at sqrt(s)=7 TeV are reported. Data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.6 fb-1 are used. Good agreement is observed between the data and the Standard Model predictions. The results are translated into exclusion limits on models with large extra spatial dimensions and on pair production of weakly interacting dark matter candidates.

Search for a heavy top-quark partner in final states with two leptons with the ATLAS detector at the LHC

The ATLAS collaboration Aad, Georges ; Abajyan, Tatevik ; Abbott, Brad ; et al.
JHEP 11 (2012) 094, 2012.
Inspire Record 1186556 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.59945

The results of a search for direct pair production of heavy top-quark partners in 4.7 fb-1 of integrated luminosity from pp collisions at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC are reported. Heavy top-quark partners decaying into a top quark and a neutral non-interacting particle are searched for in events with two leptons in the final state. No excess above the Standard Model expectation is observed. Limits are placed on the mass of a supersymmetric scalar top and of a spin-1/2 top-quark partner. A spin-1/2 top-quark partner with a mass between 300 GeV and 480 GeV, decaying to a top quark and a neutral non-interacting particle lighter than 100 GeV, is excluded at 95% confidence level.

Search for high-mass resonances decaying to dilepton final states in pp collisions at s**(1/2) = 7-TeV with the ATLAS detector

The ATLAS collaboration Aad, Georges ; Abajyan, Tatevik ; Abbott, Brad ; et al.
JHEP 11 (2012) 138, 2012.
Inspire Record 1185259 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.59903

The ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider is used to search for high-mass resonances decaying to an electron-positron pair or a muon-antimuon pair. The search is sensitive to heavy neutral Z' gauge bosons, Randall-Sundrum gravitons, Z* bosons, techni-mesons, Kaluza-Klein Z/gamma bosons, and bosons predicted by Torsion models. Results are presented based on an analysis of pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 7 TeV corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 4.9/fb in the dielectron channel and 5.0/fb in the dimuon channel. A Z' boson with Standard Model-like couplings is excluded at 95 percent confidence level for masses below 2.22 TeV. A Randall-Sundrum graviton with coupling k/Mbar = 0.1 is excluded at 95 percent confidence level for masses below 2.16 TeV. Limits on the other models are also presented, including Technicolor and Minimal Z' Models.
