The differential cross section for π+p elastic scattering has been measured at 13.8 GeVc for 0.7<|t|<3.8(GeVc)2. The cross section is found to be equal to that previously obtained for π−p elastic scattering, except in the region |t|=2.8 (GeVc)2, where the π+p data do not show the prominent dip observed in π−p scattering. Data have also been obtained for 13.8−GeVc K+p elastic scattering for 0.8<|t|<2.2 (GeVc)2.

Multiplicity of Charged Particles in 800-{GeV} $p p$ Interactions

Phys.Lett.B 178 (1986) 124-128, 1986.
Inspire Record 231133 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.6558

Results are reported concerning the charged-particle multiplicity distribution obtained in an exposure of the high-resolution hydrogen bubble chamber LEBC to a beam of 800 GeV protons at the Fermilab MPS. This is the first time that such data have been available at this energy. The distribution of the number n ch of charged particles produced in inelastic interactions obeys KNO-scaling. The average multiplicity is 〈 n ch 〉 = 10.26±0.15. For n ch ⩾8 the data can be well fitted to a negative binomial. The difference between the overall experimental multiplicity distribution and that resulting from the latter fit is in agreement with the contribution expected from diffractive processes.

Measurement of the Real Part of the Forward Scattering Amplitude in K+- p Elastic Scattering Between 0.9-GeV/c and 2.6-GeV/c

Baillon, P. ; Bricman, C. ; Ferro-Luzzi, M. ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 50 (1974) 377-382, 1974.
Inspire Record 89483 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.27960

The differential cross section for K ± p elastic scattering has been measured in the forward meson direction (0.0008 < t < 0.1 GeV 2 ) in an electronics experiment at incident momenta between 0.9 and 2.06 GeV/ c . The high statistics and absolute normalisation of the data allow a good determination of the real part of the forward nuclear scattering amplitude by means of the Coulomb-nuclear interference effect.

Large angle k+ p elastic scattering at 10 gev/c

Baglin, C. ; Briandet, P. ; Carlson, P.J. ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 47 (1973) 89-92, 1973.
Inspire Record 95211 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.28014

K + p elastic scattering has been measured over nearly the whole angular range at an incident momentum of 10 GeV/ c . The differential cross-section is found to decrease smoothly in the forward direction to - t ≈ 2 (GeV/ c ) 2 , where there is a change in slope, followed by a further decrease to - t ≈ 6 (GeV/ c ) 2 . Around 90° c.m. the cross-section is approximately 1 nb/(GeV/ c ) 2 , which is more than two orders of magnitude lower than at 5 GeV/ c . The backward peak has no structure.

K+ p Elastic Scattering at 32-GeV/c

The FRENCH-SOVIET-CERN collaboration Granet, P. ; Loret, M. ; Mosca, L. ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 62 (1976) 350-352, 1976.
Inspire Record 114035 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.27668

Elastic scattering of 32.1 GeV/ c K + on protons has been measured in a bubble chamber experiment. Results are presented in the momentum transfer interval 0.06–1.40 GeV 2 and compared with data at different energies. An effective Regge trajectory is calculated using K + p elastic data from 10 to 175 GeV/ c .

Results are reported based on a study of π − p interactions at 147 GeV/ c in the FERMILAB 30-inch Proportional Wire Hybrid Bubble Chamber System. We have measured the topological cross sections and separated two-prong elastic and inelastic channels. In addition, we have extracted leading particle cross sections using the increased momentum resolution of the downstream proportional wire chambers. We have compared our results with experiments and predictions of a simple fragmentation hyphothesis.

Cross-Sections and Multiplicity Distributions for pi- p Interactions at 11.2-GeV/c

Forino, A. ; Gessaroli, R. ; Quareni-Vignudelli, A. ; et al.
Nuovo Cim.A 31 (1976) 696, 1976.
Inspire Record 3101 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.37695

Results are presented concerning topological cross-sections and multiplicity distribution for a π−p experiment at 11.2 GeV/c. The statistics used are one-half of the total ones (106 bubble chamber pictures). Comparison with data at different energies and theoretical predictions are made, and satisfactory agreement is obtained.
