$K^0_SK^0_S$ production in two-photon collisions has been studied using a 397.6 fb$^{-1}$ data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. For the first time the cross sections are measured in the two-photon center-of-mass energy range between 2.4 GeV and 4.0 GeV and angular range $|\cos\theta^*|<0.6$. Combining the results with measurements of $\gamma\gamma\to K^+K^-$ from Belle, we observe that the cross section ratio $\sigma(K^0_SK^0_S)/\sigma(K^+K^-)$ decreases from ~0.13 to ~0.01 with increasing energy. Signals for the $\chi_{c0}$ and $\chi_{c2}$ charmonium states are also observed.

We describe a search for the pair production of first-generation scalar and vector leptoquarks in the eejj and enujj channels by the D0 Collaboration. The data are from the 1992--1996 ppbar run at sqrt{s} = 1.8 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. We find no evidence for leptoquark production; in addition, no kinematically interesting events are observed using relaxed selection criteria. The results from the eejj and enujj channels are combined with those from a previous D0 analysis of the nunujj channel to obtain 95% confidence level (C.L.) upper limits on the leptoquark pair-production cross section as a function of mass and of beta, the branching fraction to a charged lepton. These limits are compared to next-to-leading-order theory to set 95% C.L. lower limits on the mass of a first-generation scalar leptoquark of 225, 204, and 79 GeV/c^2 for beta=1, 1/2, and 0, respectively. For vector leptoquarks with gauge (Yang-Mills) couplings, 95% C.L. lower limits of 345, 337, and 206 GeV/c^2 are set on the mass for beta=1, 1/2, and 0, respectively. Mass limits for vector leptoquarks are also set for anomalous vector couplings.

The cross sections of neutrino and antineutrino quasielastic reactions\(vn \to \mu ^ -p,\bar vp \to \mu ^ +n,\bar vp \to \mu ^ +\Lambda\) were studied in the neutrino energy range between 3 and 30 GeV. In comparison withV-A theory axial mass parameters ofMA=(1.06±0.05±0.14) GeV/c2 from neutrino andMA=(0.71±0.10±0.20) GeV/c2 from antineutrino data were found. The total cross-section for the hyperon production process can be described byMA=1.0 GeV/c2.

Experimental results on the study of quasielastic reactionsvμn→μ−p and\(\bar v_u p \to \mu ^ +n\) in the energy range 3–30 GeV are presented in this paper. Spark chamber detector with Al filters has been exposed to the wide-band neutrino and antineutrino beams at Serpukhov. Neutrino and antineutrino data have been used to reconstruct the behaviour of axial-vector form-factorFA(Q2). We measured the total cross-sections as a function of energy. The parameterMA=(1.00±0.04) GeV/c2 has been determined under the assumption of the dipole parametrization and CVC hypothesis. Upper limit for the second class currents was estimated.
