Approximately 700 events of the reaction K − d → K − π − pp s produced by 5.5 GeV/ c kaons were used to measure the cross section for Kπ elastic scattering in the T = 3 2 state by a Chew-Low extrapolation. The cross section does not exceed 2.1 mb and has no structure for Kπ masses from threshold up to 2.0 GeV.
Chew-Low extrapolation is used for evaluation of the K- P elastic cross section.
Polarization and differential cross section data for elastic proton-proton scattering between 0.86 and 2.74 GeV/ c are presented. A comparison is made with existing phase-shift analyses.

The np and nd total cross sections have been measured directly with a neutron beam with momenta of 4.0 ± 0.6 and 5.7 ± 0.6 GeV/ c . The data are compared with the previous nucleon-nucleon and nucleon-deuteron results, and the deuteron screening term was also evaluated. The measured total cross section are 43.1 ± 0.6 and 80.3 ± 1.9 mb at 4.0 GeV/ c and 42 ± 0.6 and 77.8 ± 1.3 mb at 5.7 GeV/ c .

High energy v -nucleus cross sections have been compared for Pb, Fe, Al and C as target nuclei, exposed to the CERN v -beam. The events with θ vμ < 29 0 and p μ ⪆ 1 GeV /c have rates in the ratio of the mass number of the nuclei. Also a restricted sample with q 2 ⪅ 0.1 (GeV/ c ) 2 and θ vμ < 5 0 does not reveal a theoretically predicted deviation from A -proportionality, although due to the limited statistical accuracy in this restricted sample an “ A 2 3 - contribution ” of several tenths cannot be excluded either.

The inelastic scattering of muons has been measured using positive muons of momentum 10 GeV/c incident upon a liquid-hydrogen target. We present values of the differential cross section and of the virtual photon-photon absorption cross section for |q| in the range 0.05 to 1.2 (GeV/c)2 and for equivalent photon laboratory energies of 0.6 to 6.5 GeV.

The reactions pp → NN π are studied at 19 GeV/ c and analysed in terms of the amplitudes with the low mass N π system in isospin states 1 2 and 3 2 respectively. The I − 1 2 cross section is compared with the corresponding one in π p→ ππ N at 8 GeV/ c .

Total and differential cross sections are presented on the reactions: p ̄ p → Λ Λ, ΛΣ 0 + c.c. , Σ + Σ + at an incident momentum of 5.7 GeV/ c , from 200 000 photographs (13 events/ Σ b) of the CERN 2 metre hydrogen bubble chamber. We have measured differential cross sections of γ + p → p + η 0 at several energies. The angular distributions show that S 11 production is predominant in the energy range investigated and that the other resonant terms seen in π-production of η are absent or very low. Finally, experimental data are theoretically interpreted and the S 11 parameters deduced.

π ° photoproduction cross sections on proton have been measured at π° c.m. angles between 115° and 180° and between 700 MeV and 1150 MeV photon energies by detecting only the recoil proton. Our results show clearly a peak at 135° around 1000 MeV energies as predicted by Walker's partial wave analysis.
