The contribution of possible intranuclear secondary processes (interactions of secondary mesons with nucleons and few-nucleon systems, interactions of Δ-resonances with nucleons) to cumulative proton production in π − c interactions at 5 GeV/ c is studied. It has been found that the contribution of secondary processes makes nearly half of the inclusive cross section of cumulative proton production at momenta p p ⩽ 0.75 GeV/ c .

Nearly 40000 neutrino and antineutrino interactions in BEBC are compared to measure the differences between neon and deuterium in the quark and antiquark distributions and in the nucleon structure functions. The ratio of Ne to D cross sections indicates some decrease betweenx∼0.2 andx∼0.6. They distributions show there is no significant increase in the neon sea, but prefer a small decrease. Taken altogether, thex andy distributions and the measured total cross-sections indicate some change in the shape of the valence distributions. No significant dependence onA is observed for either the shape of the sea or the ratio of longitudinal to transverse cross-sections.

The production of μ − e − pairs is studied in interactions of neutrinos with nuclei of heavy freon in the SKAT bubble chamber experiment. A rate of μ − e − pairs to charged current interactions of R μ − e − =(2.5± 1.4 4.3 )×10 −4 is found at an average neutrino energy of 10 GeV. The ratio μ − e − / μ − e + comes out to be μ − e − / μ − e + = 0.12± 0.08 0.22 .
