The p p elastic differential cross section at 50 GeV/c has been measured in a two-arm spectrometer experiment at the CERN SPS. The | t | range covered extends from 0.7 to 5 (GeV/c. A pronounced dip-bump structure is observed with a sharp minimum at | t | = 1.5 (GeV/ c ) 2 .

The asymmetry A LL for pp elastic scattering has been measured at 650 and 800 MeV in the region of Coulomb-nuclear interference. The real part of the double-spin-flip amplitude extracted from these data completes our determination of the forward pp scattering amplitudes at these energies. Comparison with the predictions of forward dispersion relations reveals a discrepancy in the spin-dependent channels at 650 MeV.

Phys.Lett.B 198 (1987) 583, 1987.
Inspire Record 249671 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.30077

Proton-antiproton elastic scattering was measured at the CERN SPS Collider at the centr-of-mass energy s =546 GeV in the Coulomb interference region. The data provide information on the phase of the hadronic amplitude in the forward direction. The conventional analysis gives for the ratio ϱ of the real to the imaginary part of the hadronic amplitude the result ϱ =0.24±0.04.

Elastic Scattering at the {CERN} {SPS} Collider Up to a Four Momentum Transfer of 1.55-{GeV}**2

Phys.Lett.B 155 (1985) 197-202, 1985.
Inspire Record 213385 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.30410

Proton-antiproton elastic scattering was measured at the center-of-mass energy s =546 GeV in the four-momentum transfer range 0.45⩽−⩽1.55GeV 2 . The shape of the t -distribution is quite different from that observed in proton-proton scattering at the ISR. Rather than a dip-bump structure, a kink is present at − ≈0.9GeV 2 followed by a shoulder. The cross section at the second maximum is more than one order of magnitude higher than at the ISR.

Precision Measurements of the Anti-proton - Proton Elastic Scattering Cross-section at 90-degrees in the Incident Momentum Range Between 3.5-{GeV}/$c$ and 5.7-{GeV}/$c$

The high antiproton-proton luminosity obtained by using a target system consisting of a hydrogen gas-jet crossing a coasting beam of cooled antiproton circulating in one of the rings of CERN's ISR provides the possibility to measure low cross section reactions with very high precision. We present measurements of the antiproton-proton elastic cross section at 90° CM at incident momenta between 3.5 GeV/ c and 5.7 GeV/ c . The precision of these measurements is much higher than previously reported results. The data show that the cross section of this reaction decreases faster than s −12 over this momentum range.

Large T Elastic Scattering at the {CERN} {SPS} Collider at $\sqrt{s}=630$-{GeV}

Phys.Lett.B 171 (1986) 142-144, 1986.
Inspire Record 227143 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.30263

Proton-antiproton elastic scattering was measured at the centre-of-mass energy s = 630 GeV in the four-momentum transfer range 0.7 ⩽ − t ⩽ 2.2 GeV 2 . The new data confirm our previous results at s = 546 GeV on the presence of a break in the t -distribution at − t ≃ 0.9 GeV 2 which is followed by a shoulder, and extend the momentum transfer range to larger values. The t -dependence of the differential cross section beyond the break is discussed.

Elastic scattering of positive kaons on polarized protons at 1.22 and 2.48 gev/c

Phys.Lett.B 28 (1969) 611-614, 1969.
Inspire Record 56802 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.29066

Polarization angular distributions of K + p elastic scattering have been measured at 1.22 and 2.48 GeV/ c . Over the measured range of − t the polarization is generally large and positive. The data at 1.22 GeV/ c resolve an ambiguity in a recently published phase-shift analysis, favouring the solution which requires no resonance in the K + p system.

Inspire Record 113032 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.35989

The polarization P in proton-proton elastic scattering has been measured at 3.83 GeV/ c for 0.35 ⩽ | t | ⩽ 3.0 (GeV/ c ) 2 , i.e. 29° ⩽ θ c.m. ⩽ 93°. The polarization shows a minimum at − ⋍ 1.0 ( GeV /c) 2 followed by a maximum at −⋍1.5 ( GeV /c) 2 . At the same energy the spin rotation parameter R has been measured in the interval 0.18 ⩽ | t | ⩽ 0.57 (GeV/ c ) 2 . Comparison with the results at 6.0 and 15.75 GeV/ c shows a similar t -dependence and the same average value at all three energies.
