A systematic analysis is presented on the reaction K + p → K ∗0 (890) Δ ++ for nine incident momenta between 4.6–16.0 GeV/ c . Cross sections, differential cross sections and vector meson single density matrix elements are given. As a function of energy, little if any change is observed in either the shapes of the differential cross sections or in the values of the density matrix elements. The data are interpreted in terms of current ideas on t -channel exchange mechanisms.

About 100 000 pictures, with an average of ∼12K + per picture, taken in the 81 cm Saclay deuterium bubble chamber exposed to a separated 3 GeV/c K + beam have been analysed for the reaction K + d→K 0 pp in the 1-prong V 0 and 2-prong V 0 topologies. 214 such events have been found allowing a determination of the differential cross-section. A comparison with the prediction of Rarita and Schwarzschild yields reasonable agreement; in particular a large real part is inferred for the amplitude for the reaction K + n→K 0 p.

The results of the study of the π + p→K + ∑ + (1) and π + p→K + ∑ + (1385) (2) reactions at 12 GeV/ c are presented. The differential cross sections d σ /d t in| t min |<| t |<0.8 (GeV/ c ) 2 momentum transfer range are measured. The ∑ + polarisation for | t |<0.5 (GeV/ c ) 2 for reaction (1) is defined. Binary reactions (1) and (2) were selected by analyzing the missing mass spectra for the forward emitted fast K + meson. The total cross sections in the studied momentum transfer range are 20.2±2.4 μ b and 7.3±1.1 μ b for the reactions (1) and (2) respectively. The experimental results are compared with the predictions of the Regge models which take into account rescattering and secondary singularities.

The inclusive production of resonances is systematically studied in K + p interactions at 32 GeV/ c . Total production cross sections are given for three baryon resonances, five vector and three 2 + tensor mesons. π−p→π0n differential cross-sections have been measured in the region of small 4-momentum transfer at 40 GeV/c incident momentum. The experiment performed at the IHEP 70 GeV accelerator makes use of a hodoscope γ-spectrometer. Thet- dependence of the cross-section points to a dominance of the spin-flip amplitude.
