The cross section and tensor analysing power t_20 of the d\vec{d}->eta 4He reaction have been measured at six c.m. momenta, 10 < p(eta) < 90 MeV/c. The threshold value of t_20 is consistent with 1/\sqrt{2}, which follows from parity conservation and Bose symmetry. The much slower momentum variation observed for the reaction amplitude, as compared to that for the analogous pd->eta 3He case, suggests strongly the existence of a quasi-bound state in the eta-4He system and optical model fits indicate that this probably also the case for eta-3He.
The spin-averaged amplitude squared is defined as follows: ABS(AMP)**2 = (P_deut/P_eta)*D(SIG)/D(OMEGA) and obtained by assuming the angular distributions to be isotropic. The errors in this quantity includes a contribution from Delta(P_eta). The statistical error of about 2% are added quadratically to the systemat ic error.
The production of η mesons in proton-proton collisions has been studied using the WASA detector at the CELSIUS storage ring at excess energies of Q=40 MeV and Q=72 MeV. The η was detected through its 2γ decay in a near-4π electromagnetic calorimeter, whereas the protons were measured by a combination of straw chambers and plastic scintillator planes in the forward hemisphere. About 6.9×104 and 9.3×104 events were found at Q=40 MeV and Q=72 MeV, respectively, with background contributions of less than 5%. A simple parametrization of the production cross section in terms of low partial waves was used to evaluate the acceptance corrections. Strong evidence was found for the influence of higher partial waves. The Dalitz plots show the presence of p waves in both the pp and the η{pp} systems and the angular distributions of the η in the center-of-mass frame suggest the influence of d-wave η mesons.
Differential cross section for pp -> pp eta at proton beam energies of 1360 and 1445 MeV (excess energies of of 40 and 72 MeV). The angle theta* is that between the eta momentum and that of the beam in the overall CM system. The error shown in the table is the combined statistical and systematic uncertainty, excluding the overall normalization error.
Differential cross section for pp -> pp eta at proton beam energies of 1360 and 1445 MeV (excess energies of of 40 and 72 MeV). The angle theta** is that between the pp relative momentum and that of the eta in the diproton rest frame. The error shown in the table is the combined statistical and systematic uncertainty, excluding the overall normalization error.
Differential cross section for pp -> pp eta at a proton beam energy of 1360 MeV (excess energy Q = 40 MeV) with respect to the square of the final pp invariant mass. Note the change in units with respect to the figure.
In a 35 000-picture exposure of the Fermilab 30-in. hydrogen bubble chamber to a 300-GeV/c proton beam 1863 neutral V0's were measured. The inclusive cross sections for γ, Ks0, Λ0Σ0, and Λ¯0Σ¯0 are 257 ± 18 mb, 7.3 ± 0.6 mb, 3.6 ± 0.4 mb, and 1.0 ± 0.3 mb, respectively. The correlation with charged particles and other inclusive features are studied.

Production of φ mesons in e+e− annihilation at a center-of-mass energy of 29 GeV has been observed with the time-projection chamber detector at the PEP storage ring. The φ production rate has been measured in the energy range 0.075<x<0.55 (x=2Eφs), giving 0.077±0.012(stat)±0.016(syst) φ's per event. The average value of pt2 relative to the thrust axis is 1.0±0.4 (GeV/c)2.

EXTRAPOLAATION TO ALL X USES LUND MONTE CARLO PREDICTIONS.
ERRORS ARE BOTH STATISTICAL AND SYSTEMATIC. PT IS MEASURED RELATIVE TO THE EVENT THRUST AXIS, AND IS FOUND TO HAVE A MEAN VALUE OF 1.0 +- 0.4 GEV.
Fermilab experiment E735 located at the CO intersection region of the\(\sqrt s= 1.8\) TeV\(p\bar p\) collider analysed over 900 Φ→K+K− events. Measured were the transverse momentum spectrum, the correlation between the average transverse momentum <pt> and the charged particle multiphcityNc, as well as the probability of Φ production per charged track,NΦ/Nc, versusNc. We have also made an estinate of the total inclusive cross section for Φ mesons,\(\sigma (p\bar p \to \phi X) = 7.3 \pm 2.2 mb\).
