We have used the momentum spectrum of leptons produced in semileptonic B-meson decays to set a 90%-confidence-level upper limit on Γ(b→ulν)Γ(b→clν) of 4%. We also measure the semileptonic branching fractions of the B meson to be (12.0±0.7±0.5)% for electrons and (10.8±0.6±1.0)% for muons.

The e + e − → p p cross section has been measured in the energy interval (1975 ⩽ 2 E ⩽ 2250) MeV for |cos θ | < 0.7. The measurement is based on ∼ 100 events, thus improving by a factor 3 on the previous existing statistics in this energy interval. The form factor | G | 2 is given as a function of energy under the assumption | G E | = | G M |. We also give the first measurement of the differential cross section, averaged over the energy interval, and estimate the ratio G M |/| G E | from it.

CROSS SECTIONS FOR POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE G-PARITY FINAL STATES (EVEN AND ODD NUMBERS OF PIONS).
No description provided.
Total cross sections for reactions e + e − → π + π − π 0 , π + π − π 0 , 2 π + 2 π − π 0 , 2 π + 2 π − 2 π 0 , 3 π + 3 π − have been measured in the total c.m. energy range 1.42–2.20 GeV. Partial R = σ had / σ σ + μ − values for two and four produced charged pions, and cross sections for positive and negative G -parity states are also reported.
THE CROSS SECTIONS FOR PRODUCING AN ODD OR EVEN NUMBER OF PIONS CORRESPOND TO NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE G-PARITY FINAL STATES. CROSS SECTION FOR E+ E- --> PI+ PI+ PI+ PI- PI- PI- IS LESS THAN ABOUT 2 NB IN THIS ENERGY RANGE.

We present new high statistics data on hadron production in photon-photon reactions. The data are analyzed in terms of an electron-photon scattering formalism. The dependence of the total cross section of Q 2 , the four-momentum transfer squared of the scattered electron, and on the mass W of the hadronic system is investigated. The data are compared to predictions from Vector-Meson Dominance and the quark model.

DEPENDENCE ON VISIBLE HADRONIC INVARIANT MASS.
Data read from graph.
Data are presented for the reaction ep → ep π 0 at a nominal momentum transfer squared of 1.0 (GeV/ c ) 2 . The data were obtained using an extracted electron beam from NINA and two magnetic spectrometers for coincidence detection of the electron and proton. Differential cross sections have been measured for isobar masses in the range 1.19–1.73 GeV/ c 2 .

The cross section for the reaction e + e - →π + π - π + π - has been measured at the e + e - storage ring Adone, in the to tal c.m. energy range 1.42–2.20 GeV. The peak and the following descent of the ϱ′(1600) resonance is observed. Using also lower energy data, and assuming that only one resonant amplitude contributes to the observed cross section, the parameters of the ϱ′(1600) are deduced.

The total cross section for electron-positron annihilation into three or more hadrons has been measured for centre of mass energies between 1.4 and 2.0 GeV. The data were obtained at ADONE by the BB̄ experiment.
NOTE THAT THIS MEASUREMENT OF R EXCLUDES TWO-BODY FINAL STATE EVENTS. RADIATIVE CORRECTIONS WERE APPLIED.
