The measurements of the transmission regeneration amplitude on hydrogen in the momentum region of 14–42 GeV/ c indicate that in accordance with the Pomeranchuk theorem its magnitude |ƒ° − ƒ °|/k decreases as energy increases and its phase is approximately constant and equal to arg (ƒ° − ƒ °) = (−118 ± 13)° .

A search for the flavor-changing neutral-current decay $B^{+}\to K^{+}\nu\bar{\nu}$ is performed at the Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB asymmetric energy electron-positron collider. The results are based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $63\,\mbox{fb}^{-1}$ collected at the $\Upsilon{(4S)}$ resonance and a sample of $9\,\mbox{fb}^{-1}$ collected at an energy $60\mathrm{\,Me\kern -0.1em V}$ below the resonance. A novel measurement method is employed, which exploits topological properties of the $B^{+}\to K^{+}\nu\bar{\nu}$ decay that differ from both generic bottom-meson decays and light-quark pair production. This inclusive tagging approach offers a higher signal efficiency compared to previous searches. No significant signal is observed. An upper limit on the branching fraction of $B^{+}\to K^{+}\nu\bar{\nu}$ of $4.1 \times 10^{-5}$ is set at the 90% confidence level.
We present a measurement of the differential cross section for $t\bar{t}$ events produced in $p\bar{p}$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}=1.96$ TeV as a function of the transverse momentum ($p_T$) of the top quark. The selected events contain a high-$p_T$ lepton ($\ell$), four or more jets, and a large imbalance in $p_T$, and correspond to 1 fb${}^{-1}$ of integrated luminosity recorded with the D0 detector. Each event must have at least one candidate for a $b$ jet. Objects in the event are associated through a constrained kinematic fit to the $t\bar{t}\to WbW\bar{b} \to \ell\nu b q\bar{q}'\bar{b}$ process. Results from next-to-leading-order perturbative QCD calculations agree with the measured differential cross section. Comparisons are also provided to predictions from Monte Carlo event generators using QCD calculations at different levels of precision.

We present measurements of the differential cross section dsigma/dpT_gamma for the inclusive production of a photon in association with a b-quark jet for photons with rapidities |y_gamma|< 1.0 and 30<pT_gamma <300 GeV, as well as for photons with 1.5<|y_gamma|< 2.5 and 30< pT_gamma <200 GeV, where pT_gamma is the photon transverse momentum. The b-quark jets are required to have pT>15 GeV and rapidity |y_jet| < 1.5. The results are based on data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8.7 fb^-1, recorded with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ Collider at sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV. The measured cross sections are compared with next-to-leading order perturbative QCD calculations using different sets of parton distribution functions as well as to predictions based on the kT-factorization QCD approach, and those from the Sherpa and Pythia Monte Carlo event generators.

The inclusive dijet production double differential cross section as a function of the dijet invariant mass and of the largest absolute rapidity of the two jets with the largest transverse momentum in an event is measured in proton anti-proton collisions at sqrt{s} = 1.96 TeV using 0.7 fb^{-1} integrated luminosity collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider. The measurement is performed in six rapidity regions up to a maximum rapidity of 2.4. Next-to-leading order perturbative QCD predictions are found to be in agreement with the data.
Dijet double differential cross section for the absolute rapidity region 0.0 to 0.4.
Dijet double differential cross section for the absolute rapidity region 0.4 to 0.8.

The process $p\bar{p} \to \gamma$ + jet + X is studied using 1.0 $fb^{-1}$ of data collected by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron $p\bar{p}$ collider at a center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$=1.96 TeV. Photons are reconstructed in the central rapidity region |$y^{\gamma}$|< 1.0 with transverse momenta in the range 30<$p^{\gamma}_T$<400 GeV while jets are reconstructed in either the central |$y^{jet}$|< 0.8 or forward 1.5 <|$y^{jet}$|<2.5 rapidity intervals with $p^{jet}_T$> 15 GeV. The differential cross section $d^3\sigma/dp^{\gamma}_T dy^\gamma dy^{jet}$ is measured as a function of $p^{\gamma}_T$ in four regions, differing by the relative orientations of the photon and the jet in rapidity. Ratios between the differential cross sections in each region are also presented. Next-to-leading order QCD predictions using different parameterizations of parton distribution functions and theoretical scale choices are compared to the data. The predictions do not simultaneously describe the measured normalization and Pt_gamma dependence of the cross section in any of the four measured regions.

The production of $D^{\pm}$ and $D_{s}^{\pm}$ charmed mesons is measured using the $D^{\pm}/D_{s}^{\pm} \to ϕ(μμ)π^{\pm}$ decay channel with 137 fb$^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV proton-proton collision data collected with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider during the years 2016-2018. The charmed mesons are reconstructed in the range of transverse momentum $12 < p_\mathrm{T} < 100$ GeV and pseudorapidity $|η| < 2.5$. The differential cross-sections are measured as a function of transverse momentum and pseudorapidity, and compared with next-to-leading-order QCD predictions. The predictions are found to be consistent with the measurements in the visible kinematic region within the large theoretical uncertainties.
Inclusive $D^\pm$ meson production cross-sections in different fiducial volumes defined by $|\eta|<2.5$ and different $p_T$ regions. For the ATLAS measurements, the statistical, systematic (excluding branching ratio) and branching ratio uncertainties are shown separately; for the theoretical predictions, the total theoretical uncertainties are shown.
