The e+e- -> e+e- hadrons reaction, where one of the two electrons is detected in a low polar-angle calorimeter, is analysed in order to measure the hadronic photon structure function F2gamma . The full high-energy and high-luminosity data set, collected with the L3 detector at centre-of-mass energies 189-209GeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 608/pb is used. The Q^2 range 11-34GeV^2 and the x range 0.006-0.556 are considered. The data are compared with recent parton density functions.

We have measured the B hadron energy distribution in Z0 decays using a sample of semi-leptonic B decays recorded in the SLD experiment at SLAC. The energy of each tagged B hadron was reconstructed using information from the lepton and a partially reconstructed charm-decay vertex. We compared the scaled energy distribution with several models of heavy quark fragmentation. The average scaled energy of primary B hadrons was found to be <x_E_B> = 0.716 +- 0.011 (stat.) +0.022 -0.021 (syst.).

Inclusive production cross sections for photons and π0's ine+e− annihilation at a center of mass energy of 29 GeV have been measured. The π0 production spectrum agrees with a corresponding measurement for π±. The ratio of the π0 inclusive rate to the average for π± is 0.92±0.14. The fractions of the total energy carried by photons and π0's are 0.244±0.016 and 0.217±0.033, respectively. The fraction of total energy carried by all stable hadrons, prompt leptons and photons is determined to be 0.938±0.045, leaving 0.062±0.045 for neutrinos.

The inclusive production cross section of Λ, Λ¯ in e+e− annihilation at a c.m. energy of 29 GeV has been measured with the time-projection-chamber detector at PEP. The average Λ, Λ¯ multiplicity has been measured to be 0.197 ± 0.012(stat.) ±0.017(syst.). Λ−Λ¯ pairs have been observed in jets for the first time, and the average number of Λ−Λ¯ pairs per event has been measured to be 0.042 ± 0.017 ± 0.014.

The inclusive production cross sections and transverse momentum distributions of K*0 and KS0 mesons in e+e− annihilation at a center-of-mass energy of 29 GeV have been measured by means of the time projection chamber detector in the PEP-4 experiment. EXTRAPOLAATION TO ALL X USES LUND MONTE CARLO PREDICTIONS.
ERRORS ARE BOTH STATISTICAL AND SYSTEMATIC. PT IS MEASURED RELATIVE TO THE EVENT THRUST AXIS, AND IS FOUND TO HAVE A MEAN VALUE OF 1.0 +- 0.4 GEV.
The inclusive production cross sections and mean multiplicities of π±, K±, p, and p¯ in e+e− annihilation at a c.m. energy of 29 GeV have been measured with the time-projection chamber at PEP, using ionization energy loss to separate particle types. On average, 10.7±0.6 π±, 1.35±0.13 K±, and 0.60±0.08 p,p¯ are contained in an annihilation event. The fraction of pions among final-state particles decreases from over 95% at 0.3 GeV/c momentum to about 60% at high momentum; the kaon and proton fractions rise correspondingly.

The inclusive γ and π0 momentum spectra from ψ(3100) decay have been measured in e+e− annihilation at SPEAR. When the γ spectrum is compared with that expected from π0 decay, an excess of high-momentum γ's is observed. This excess is compared with that predicted by quantum chromodynamics for the decay of the ψ into a γ and two gluons.
