The results of measurement of differential cross sections for the process γp → nπ + are presented for γ-ray energies 260, 290, 320 MeV and pion angles 90°–180°.
Only statistical errors are given.
The experimental energy, angular and isotopic distributions for hydrogen and helium nuclei produced in 6.7 GeV deuteron interactions with 58Ni and 64Ni isotopes are presented. The data obtained by using the multichannel E-E semiconductor spectrometer in the 3-50 MeV energy range. Energy spectra are very close to Maxwell distribution, angular distributions are isotropic, isotopic ratios do not depend on emission angle of fragments but depend on a projectile mass

The differential cross section for photoproduction of 1r + mesons from protons at an energy Ey = 230 MeV has been measured for center-of-mass angles of 0, 38, 82, 90, 116, 138, 146, and 180°. A magnetic spectrometer and a meson-stopping detector were used to identify mesons from momentum and range. stopped 1r+ mesons were detected by means of the 1r- p. decay. The statistical accuracy of the results is ±(3-4)% on the average. From comparison of the experimental data with theoretical calculations based on dispersion relations, we have estimated the value of the y1rp coupling constant, Ay1rp = (0.63 ± O.ll)ef.

The differential cross section for the backward (120° ⩽ θ c.m.s. ⩽ 180°) pion-deuteron elastic scattering was measured at eight incident pion momenta from 0.90 to 2.025 GeV/ c . A distinctive change in the shape of the angular distribution is observed. At 0.9 GeV/ c the differential cross section decreases smoothly to 180° in accordance with predictions of multiple-scattering theory. At 1.31 GeV/ c , i.e. in the region of the hypothetical 1 I 6 dibaryon with a mass of 2.9 GeV, the differential cross section is practically independent of angle. At higher energies a sharp backward peak is clearly seen. Connections of our results with dibaryons and Regge asymptotic behaviour are discussed.
