Inclusive $\pi^0$ and $\eta$ Production From Kaon, Proton and Anti-proton Beams in the Triple Regge Region

Kennett, R.G. ; Barnes, A.V. ; Fox, G.C. ; et al.
Nucl.Phys.B 177 (1981) 1-20, 1981.
Inspire Record 9595 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.1342

Data are presented on the reactions K ± p → π 0 X, K ± p → η X, pp → π 0 X and p p → π 0 X in the kinematic region with s ⋍ 200 GeV 2 , x ≳ 0.7 and − t ≲ 1 GeV 2 . The data agree well with the predictions of triple-Regge theory and the K ∗ and nucleon Regge trajectories extracted from the data agree with the linear trajectories extrapolated from the particle poles.

A Measurement of the Production of Massive $e^+ e^-$ Pairs in Proton Proton Collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=62.4 GeV

The CERN-Columbia-Oxford-Rockefeller & CCOR collaborations Angelis, A.L.S. ; Besch, H.J. ; Blumenfeld, Barry J. ; et al.
Phys.Lett.B 87 (1979) 398-402, 1979.
Inspire Record 142896 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.27278

An apparatus consisting of a superconducting solenoid magnet, cylindrical drift-chambers, and two arrays of lead-glass Čerenkov counters has been used at the CERN ISR to study the production of e + e − pairs of invariant mass above 6.5 GeV/ c 2 . Cross sections for the continuum and the ϒ family of resonances are presented, as well as the mean transverse momentum 〈 p T 〉 of the electron-positron pairs in the continuum and resonance region.

Proton Spectra From 800-{MeV} Protons on Selected Nuclides

Chrien, R.E. ; Krieger, T.J. ; Sutter, R.J. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.C 21 (1980) 1014, 1980.
Inspire Record 143625 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.5224

The emission of protons from targets of Li6, Li, C12, Al27, Ca40, V51, Zr90, and Pb under bombardment from 800 MeV protons has been studied using a high resolution proton spectrometer. Spectra were measured at laboratory scattering angles of 5°, 7°, 9°, 11°, 13°, 15°, 20°, 25°, and 30° with special emphasis on the quasifree region. Outgoing momenta corresponding to the region of pion production were examined at 11° and 15°. Absolute cross sections have been derived by reference to known (p,p) scattering data at 800 MeV. The quasifree scattering has been compared to a distorted-wave impulse approximation analysis by summing over the unobserved (struck) nucleon. The systematics of proton production and the applicability of the distorted-wave impulse approximation analyses are discussed. NUCLEAR REACTIONS (p,p′) on Li6, Li, C12, Al27, Ca40, V51, Zr90, Pb; Ep=800 MeV, θL=5° to 30°; quasielastic scattering, DWIA analysis.

Precise Tests of Triple Regge Theory From $\pi^0$ and $\eta$ Inclusive Production in 100-{GeV}/$c \pi^\pm p$ Collisions

Barnes, A.V. ; Fox, G.C. ; Kennett, R.G. ; et al.
Phys.Rev.Lett. 41 (1978) 1260, 1978.
Inspire Record 131753 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.13342

We present data on π0 and η inclusive production from 100-GeV/c π±p collisions in the kinematic region x>~0.7 and 0<−t≲4 (GeV/c)2. The results are in excellent agreement with the predictions of triple-Regge theory and we have extracted the ρ and A2 trajectories out to −t=4 (GeV/c)2.

Nucl.Phys.B 119 (1977) 1, 1977.
Inspire Record 4308 DOI 10.17182/hepdata.35597

Data are presented on the reactions π + n → ϱ 0 + X and K − p → K ∗0 + X at 6.0 and 7.3 GeV/ c , respectively. Comparisons are made between these two reactions and with other reactions involving inclusive vector meson production at different energies.
